Amanda Shaut

Director 
Toddler, Pre-K Teacher

​Amanda comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Central Washington University. Here she focused on multiple courses in Child Development, Family Studies, and Parent Education/Guidance. Her course work and professional background include a wide set of office management skills, administrative roles, and training in Program Management/Planning, leading her to enjoy managing and working with a team.  Amanda is married and the mother of two young children.  She lives in the Battle Ground area with her family. She has enjoyed volunteering with VBS and leading multiple youth mentoring programs. She has a heart for Jesus, a love for children and looks forward to continuing to serve this ministry as the Director!

Sarah Kohlenberger

Four Year Old, Pre-K Teacher

Sarah Kohlenberger joined us in 2020 and has taught several different classes and age levels at POP. This year she will be teaching all of our Four Year Old classes. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, was a 1st grade teacher for 4 years, and a substitute teacher on and off while raising her 3 daughters.  She has been involved at Prince of Peace since her oldest daughter began attending preschool there in 2014.  Sarah brings a love for children and education, as well as a caring and patient heart to the classroom

Bri Gadaire

Kindergarten Teacher

​Bri Gadaire joined our POP Staff in 2020 as our Kindergarten Teacher and is still currently in this position. She is also in training to assist our PSK Director. She comes to us with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in both Psychology and Bible & Theology.  She has served her church for multiple years and is currently the Youth Coordinator.  Bri has a past working with youth oversees for extended Mission trips. She also has many years of teaching VBS, Youth Programs and more.  Bri’s joyful spirit will be a blessing to her students!

Shantina Fox

Three Year Old, Pre-K Teacher

Shantina Fox comes to us with a background in Project Management and Human Resources. She holds her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Personnel Psychology and Human Resource Management with a minor in Psychology from Washington State University. Shantina has served her church in their Pre K program for a number of years as well as working with their VBS programs. This year she will be serving our POP families in the Three Year Old class as a Teacher. Shantina, her husband and her two kiddos live in the Yacolt area and love spending time together outdoors, drinking lots of coffee and being with
​friends and family! 

Amy Hewitt

Three Year Old, Pre-K Teacher
​Four Year Old, Pre-K Assistant

Amy joined us in 2021 as a Teacher. She has continued to both teach and assist in many classes.  This year she will serve children as a Three Year Old Teacher as well as assisting in the Four's class. We are thankful to have her and her joyful smile at POP! She brings a Stars 30 Hour Training and a heart to share
​joy with your child!

Debbie Ostrand

Four Year Old, Pre-K Teacher Assistant

​Debbie assists in our four's class. She has been assisting here at Prince of Peace Preschool since 2002! She came to us with numerous Clark College courses, as well as adding additional training in the field of education while on staff. Debbie is also a blessing in the kitchen and handles all of our snack planning & prepping. Being sure to give the kids fun and nutritious snacks each day.  She continues to love sharing her caring spirit with the children in her classes.
